hi! i'm iris
I was born and raised in Vancouver, BC with a strong aspiration to make a significant difference in the world. With a bachelor's degree in psychology from Simon Fraser University and a love for design, my passion lies in creating impactful experiences for users.
Design has always captivated my interest, and it was initially what I was doing to study before psychology. But, upon discovering the realm of UX design—a discipline that encompasses all my passions—I made the decision to pivot my career. The reason why I chose to pursue a psychology major and then UX design is that I want to help others. Whether it be interpersonal conflict that a therapist would resolve or an inaccessible task flow a UX designer would revise, it still falls under the larger umbrella of improving and enhancing the quality of life for another person. And as the world is becoming more integrated with technology, it can be easy to forget who the product is for, so I am excited to be in a role where I can use my unique perspective to understand and empathize with the user.
I’m a lifelong learner and incredibly passionate about everything I do, so I’m excited to see where this journey takes me!
